Code of Conduct
At New Berlin Road Christian Academy, we believe that our conduct should reflect the character of Christ in all areas of life—spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally. As a Baptist private school, we uphold biblical standards and seek to partner with families to disciple students in truth and grace.
1. Christlike Behavior
Students are expected to:
- Show respect for God, others, and themselves at all times.
- Refrain from profanity, gossip, bullying, and disrespectful speech or behavior.
- Practice honesty, integrity, and kindness in both words and actions.
- Attend and participate in chapel and Bible-based instruction with reverence.
2. Respect for Authority
Students are expected to:
- Obey school staff, teachers, and designated leaders promptly and respectfully.
- Accept correction and discipline with humility and a teachable spirit.
- Follow classroom rules and school procedures without complaint or disruption.
3. Academic Integrity
Students are expected to:
- Complete all assignments with their own effort and ability.
- Refrain from cheating, plagiarism, or dishonest practices.
- Take responsibility for their learning and seek help when needed.
4. Dress Code & Appearance
Students are expected to:
- Wear the approved school uniform in a neat and modest manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and grooming appropriate to a Christian learning environment.
- Avoid clothing or accessories that are distracting or inappropriate.
5. Safety & Stewardship
Students are expected to:
- Treat school property and the property of others with care and respect.
- Use technology responsibly and only with school permission.
- Avoid bringing prohibited items (e.g., weapons, tobacco, drugs, etc.) onto campus.
- Report unsafe or inappropriate behavior to an adult.
6. Relationships & Community
Students are expected to:
- Build friendships based on respect, encouragement, and Christian love.
- Avoid inappropriate physical affection or romantic behavior on campus.
- Encourage a culture of inclusion, unity, and peacemaking among peers.
7. Discipline & Restoration
Disciplinary actions will be handled in a loving but firm manner, with the goal of restoring students to right relationships with others and God. Discipline may include warnings, parent conferences, suspension, or in serious cases, dismissal.
Parental Partnership
We believe that parents are the primary educators of their children. We ask parents to support the school’s mission and Code of Conduct, working together with faculty and administration to guide their child’s growth in Christ.
